KB6002: Adding a signature in Gmail

Adding an email signature in Gmail is easy. An email signature can contain text, links and images so recipients of your email can click a link and be taken to your website or social media pages

To setup an email signature that automatically appears every time you compose an email or send a reply:

  1. Open a web browser and sign in to Gmail
  2. Click the cog icon in the top right corner and select Settings from the drop-down menu
  3. With the General Tab already selected, scroll down the page and click the Signature radio button. 
  4. Add your desired Signature in the text entry box by including text, images and links and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

Your new email signature will automatically appear the next time you select Compose to prepare an email.
