KB8002: Setting up a Cloud Phone trial

Getting setup for a Cloud Phone System trial is straightforward. Once you have received the Welcome email from us, just follow the steps below and you'll be making calls in no time.

Follow the steps below to ensure success with your Cloud Phone trial

There are only 6 steps to be up and running with a Cloud Phone trial:

Step 1 – Receive your welcome email from us

Step 2 – Follow the links in the email to download and install your softphone client

Step 3 - Download your configuration file attached to the Desktop of your PC or Mac computer

Step 4 - Open the softphone then drag and drop the configuration file into your softphone

Step 5 - Make sure your account is registered and on hook

Step 6 - Make sure the microphone and speaker of your PC or Mac is turned on and working. If you are using a headset, ensure your computer settings send both audio and microphone input to the headset

Step 6 - Use the dialpad on the softphone to start making calls
