How much does a Managed Desktop solution cost?
We deliver our Managed Desktops service in two tiers so there is a plan to suit most small businesses. Starting with our 'Essentials' service, we provide anti-virus on the PC, remote access to a technician and a priority support SLA (Service Level Agreement) for just $20 (ex GST) a month. Our 'Premier' service includes all of the 'Essentials' plan plus problem resolution, proactive monitoring and technical support for your machines for just $60 (ex GST) a month.
So why do I need a Managed Desktop?
Our Managed Desktop solution is your outsourced IT Service Desk. We fill the Desktop Support role for looking after your IT assets that you would otherwise need to employ a skilled technician to do. Each machine under contract has a small agent installed which collects machine data and logs for diagnosing and solving problems. We use professional tools for connecting remotely to your workstations and assisting users solve day to day problems.
What levels of support are provided?
Our service technicians are available from 8.30am to 5.00pm on business days and we provide levels of support outside of those hours depending on your Managed Desktops plan. Under normal circumstances, a service technician will respond to a call for support within an hour for our top levels of service. Where necessary, we will prioritise our support so any mission critical incidents are solved as a top priority and scale downwards depending on our workload.
Will you support my company's application suite?
We have been delivering Desktop support since 2006 so there is a lot we know about supporting things like printing, networks etc. We are also very skilled in application suites like Office 365 but as much as we like to tell what we know, it is impossible to know everything. However, most applications have similar ecosystems and much of our knowledge is transferable. If we can't fix an application we will help where we can to engage with the application support provider to get a fix.
How do I get started?
Getting started with Managed Desktops is simple. Tell us what level of support your require, ask for a quote and we will suggest a plan that meets your expectations. Once we all agree on how best to support your machines, our technicians will go about adding our support agent to each machine under contract and start the process of gathering data. Your people will get immediate access to our Customer Portal and direct phone for requesting service.
